In the Groomers Assistant Theory Bundle course, you will start by exploring canine physiology, culture, and basic care, including understanding their life cycles, instincts, and behaviors. You will also learn about first aid, basic grooming tools and concepts, and important workplace health and safety practices. As you progress to Block 2, you will deepen your knowledge of grooming tools, their use on different coat types, and their maintenance. This block covers shampoos, baths, and dryers, with 12 detailed tutorials on bathing and drying various coat types. Completing Block 1 before starting Block 2 is strongly recommended to build a solid foundation for your grooming education.

No prior experience or qualifications are necessary to enroll in the Groomers Assistant Theory Bundle course. It is designed to cater to complete beginners as well as those with some experience in the grooming industry.

How is the course structured and what is the duration?

The course is structured into two comprehensive blocks. Block 1 covers the basics of canine care and grooming tools, while Block 2 delves into the use and maintenance of these tools, with practical tutorials on bathing and drying. The total duration of the course is approximately 40 hours, but you can progress at your own pace, over 24 weeks (strictly 12 weeks per course).

What materials and resources will I need for this course?

You will need a reliable internet connection to access the online course materials. While not mandatory, having basic grooming tools (such as brushes, combs, clippers, and scissors) can enhance your learning experience. The course also provides downloadable resources, such as e-books and guides, to support your studies.
